| French as a second language: grade 1-5
In French, we will be teaching students a basic understanding of the language. The emphasis will be placed on developing a basic understanding of spoken and written text in French. They will be able to communicate orally in French at a basic level (introductions and greetings) as well as listen and translate basic French audio recordings. Students will learn the fundamental French grammar as well as basic sentence structure.
